Thank you Jesus!

Tonight I found out I was pregnant. Wow. A total miracle. Baby #2 is in the oven.I'm still in disbelief.

I'm not a very good writer but I kept a blog when I was pregnant with A. and I want to do it again for this baby. I printed out that blog and put it in her baby book. I still like looking back and reading about those 40 weeks that seem to go by so slow at times and fast at other times.

The Hubby and I have been trying to have a second baby since last fall. It took us a year to get pregnant with A. so I was prepared for another long haul this time around. It seems that God has blessed us with baby number two this time in only seven cycles! All in His timing!

I was three days late and starting to have some "symptoms". This afternoon I purchased a home pregnancy test at Wal-Mart. I really wanted to wait until my Hubby got home to take the test. I wanted him to be the first person I told. I had to go potty really bad and the Hubby still wasn't home yet so I went ahead and took the test. I was so scared and shaking so bad! I was truly shocked when it came up as positive! I composed myself (I kept saying Thank you Jesus! over and over again.) and went to check on A. eating dinner. The Hubby walked in the door a few minutes later. I followed him to the bedroom where he was taking off his duty belt and vest. I had the test behind my back and asked him how his day was. He said "okay". I said I know how I can make it better and showed him the test! He was so excited!! We let A. finish her dinner then told her to come to our bedroom. Last fall I had purchased a shirt from TRU that said "Big Sister" on it. I had her put it on and go show my parents. Their reaction was priceless! Of course they were excited and happy for us.

A. still has no idea what her shirt says. LOL She just thinks she got a new pink shirt with sparkles.

Just like with A., we are going to keep quiet about our news until I am a little further along. I almost miscarried A. and was on bedrest for the entire first trimester. A few close friends and family will know but no one else for now.

So sit back, get a cup of coffee, soda, tea or whatever your drink of choice is and join me in this journey of becoming a mom to two. I just pray that this baby will be healthy and stick!
