Woah baby!

I have felt this baby move so much today! It's wild. It's a gentle reminder that yes, I am pregnant.

With "A", I was so consumed with reading everything relating to pregnancy or related to babies I could get my hands on. I spent my spare time chatting with other new moms, researching baby gear, trying to eat and drink healthy....you name it. It almost seemed like every waking moment was consumed with thoughts around the new baby. I couldn't get my hands on enough reading material.

With this baby, I almost feel like I'm shortchanging him/her. I have done zero reading, zero research and I know I'm not drinking enough water. I guess the second (or third, or fourth) time around is different when you have other kids running around the house consuming your energy and your time. Maybe because I have that "been there, done that" attitude.

Thanks for the gentle flutters, little baby. I needed that moment with you.

(PS...two weeks and counting until the big ultrasound!)
