Glucose test and a dream

Tuesday I went for my on hour glucose screening test. With Ava I got to drink a sugary cola drink. This time (and also at a different hospital) it was a sugary Sierra Mista tasting drink. I just took a book along with me and sat for an hour waiting for them to take my blood. I'm hoping to hear the results today or tomorrow.

I had my first wierd dream last night. The baby was born early by coming out of my belly like an alien. Wierd. First her head and then the rest of the body. She was born with shoulder length dark hair. Strange.

Her room is just about ready for paint! Yeah! The third bedroom has become a catch all for anything and everything since moving in to this house in September. We've used the last few weeks to go through everything and every box one by one. We even found the box of love notes to each other from when we first started dating in April 1996!

We burned quite a bit of trash and donated a trunk full of stuff to the local Urban Mission. We have a few small pieces of furniture left (a mattress, bookcase and an office chair) that a friend is going to pick up. Then we will be ready to paint! I'm still trying to decide exactly what to do for paint. We are using the same crib bedding we had for Ava but I want to do the walls differently. Stay tuned for pictures of the progress!
