I guess you can call it nesting

I'm so anxious to have the baby's room done that I've been trying to work in there every day. We had some company drop by this morning so I wasn't able to work on it all until after Jim left for work. We finally have most of the junk cleared out. I spent all afternoon priming the walls. A few more hours and it should be done. I can't wait until it's finished! I was able to work around the few things that are still in there waiting to be moved.

I've felt like the last few months I haven't done any baby related to get ready. There's no shopping to be done, no car seats to research, no baby registries to make. We already have everything from "A". Finally painting and setting up her room is something I can do! We are reusing the crib set and decorations from when Ava was born. Everything is boxed up and waiting to be unpacked. I can't wait to see it all come together.

Here's the room after today's work.

I also bought "A" a small dresser at a local thrift store for $10.00! She's currently using the dresser/changing table that matches the crib. Since we're going to need that for the baby's room I needed to get her something else for her clothes. She has a HUGE closest and we hang up 99% of her things. She just needed something small for socks, undies, pants and pj's. I found this and it was perfect! I'm going to repaint it and put on new knobs. Last night at Lowe's she picked out some cute purple flower knobs that will look "perfect" according to her. =)
