Well it looks like there won't be a March baby in this family after all. ☺
My mom and dad gave me a birthstone necklace for Christmas. It has three birthstone charms. One for May (my birthday), one for November ("A"'s birthday) and one for April (Baby B's due date/birthday). The big joke was if Baby B was born in March (which was a good possibility....) we'd have to go get a new charm.
I guess she really wants the diamond to be her birthstone. Can you blame her?
I'm definitely closer to meeting our little girl. Not only by the date on the calendar but I can just tell. A couple times I thought it was "the time". I had contractions 5 minutes apart and then they quit - just like that.
At least my toes are now ready. ☺ The other night before going to bed I decided that I needed to feel pretty so I painted my toes. Have you ever seen a 9 month pregnant lady paint her toenails? It was quite funny, but they look pretty good if I do say so myself!
My next appointment is tomorrow morning. I'm so anxious to see how far I've progressed. It was at my 39 week appointment with "A" that I found out I had been contracting and wasn't really feeling anything. At that appointment they checked me and I was 100% effaced and dilated to 5-6cm already. They sent me over to the hospital and I had her 6.5 hours later.
