Happy September 1st!

Wow. I can't believe it's already September. Where did the summer go? It's hard to believe A will be three in two months. Crazy!

So far so good today. The last few days were tough. This pregnancy is turning out to be so different from A's in so many ways. My sister is going to try to pick me up some Preggie Pops while in Syracuse today. I'm also on a look out for motion sickness bands (Sea bands I guess they are called). I'll try just about anything these days.

I get a weekly pregnancy journal emailed to me. This is what I found in my in-box today.

Week eight marks the beginning of a very busy developmental stage: your baby's face continues to change as the ears, eyes and the tip of the nose appear; the intestines start to form in the umbilical cord; and its teeth begin to develop under the gums.

Awwww. Will this baby have my features or my hubby's? I can't wait to find out!

We have a busy week ahead of us. Thursday is my first doctor's appointment. I'm going to see if they will do an ultrasound to ease my mind. It would be wonderful if we could hear the heartbeat too.

Friday we become homeowners again! Yeah! We aren't going to move in right away though. We are going to replace the flooring in the kitchen, dining room and living room first. Other than that, the house is in great shape. I can't wait to start painting it and decorating it to make it "ours".
